- The End semester examination time-table will be sent as a circular to all the departments for Verification.
- If any discrepancy is noticed in the time-table, it should be brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations for rectification.
Note: Special attention to be given for clash of exam dates for students taking up arrear and regular exams. - The time-table is subject to change only in case of exigencies or unforeseen circumstances, viz., strike, bandh, sudden declaration of holidays by the government etc. The Controller of Examinations will duly notify the alternate date and time of examination in consultation with the Principal in the event of such exigencies.
- Continuous assessment marks for theory and practical papers / Project / summer Project / must be sent to the Controller of Examinations on the specified date or at least two days before the commencement of Theory/practical Examinations. Otherwise, the results will be withheld.
Exemption for hearing and speaking impaired and mentally challenged candidates from study and examination
As per the University of Madras Notification (No. V.3/S.1/Exemption to Disabled /2011-12/484 dt. 19th October 2011) “Hearing and Speaking impaired and mentally challenged candidates who are admitted to all the UG Courses shall be exempted from the study and examination of:
- One Language i.e either Part I: Tamil or any other language or Part II English.
- Part IV – Non Major Elective or Basic Tamil or Advanced Tamil of all the UG Degree Courses and they shall be declared qualified for the Degree Courses if they pass the other examinations prescribed for the Degree, with effect from the academic year 2008-2009 onwards.
