Initiative to save trees
S.D.N.B. Vaishnav College for Women, Chromepet, participated in the ‘WOW-Well Being Out of Waste,’ a national recycling initiative in which they contributed 10,564 kg of waste paper for the recycling project.
The college was awarded a certificate of appreciation by ITC Ltd.
V. Varalakshmi, principal of S.D.N.B Vaishnav College for Women, said “We are highly conscious of our responsibility towards a healthy environment and encourage our students to take up the cause. We look forward to taking up more such projects in the future. The students have participated enthusiastically in this initiative, thus making it a great success.”
