● Attended the UGC sponsored NationalWorkshop on “MBTI – Personality
Test” and is certified to apply the test in practice.
● Attended a workshop on Testing and is certified to use Rorschach and
Thematic Apperception Test in practice by Dr C. N. Ramgopal,
Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Visiting Professor.
● Diploma in Transactional Analysis (TA 101) certified by the South
Asian Association for Transactional Analysis.
● In training for Certified Transactional Analyst in Psychotherapy
under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Susan George, Ph.D, a
certified transactional analyst, Chennai since 2013.

RESEARCH AND PAPER PRESENTATION

● Conducted survey research on the topic “Opinion of couples attending
marriage counselling in family court” and presented in a symposium
conducted by the Institute of Mental Health.
● Conducted quazi-experimental research on the topic “A study on the
effect of life skills training on Self Esteem, Interpersonal Behaviour
and Anxiety among adolescent school children” and presented the
same in a conference conducted in Ethiraj College for Women. Published
the same in Knowledge-Economy,a journal of social sciences, Volume 5,
Issue no 10, September 2015.
● Translation and Validation of ‘Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship
Orientation – Behaviour’ by William Schutz in Tamil.
● Researched the topic ‘A Comparative Study of Anxiety on Gender
among Adolescents with HIV Infection’ and presented in a National
Conference on Emerging Trends in Social Work Practice in New
Millennium on 30th November 2012.
● Researched the topic ‘A Comparative Study on Trait and State
Anxiety among Adolescent Orphans with and without HIV Infection’
and presented in a conference conducted by the department of social
work, Madras School of Social Work.
● I have constructed and validated thee psychological tools on
‘Interpersonal Need, tool 1 Interpersonal Need Questionnaire – Family,
tool 2 Interpersonal Need Questionnaire – Friends, and one on Infertility
Quality of Life among Infertile Women.
● Conducted research on the topic “Development of a scale on
Interpersonal Need on family and friends, and a study on the Impact
of Interpersonal Need, Empathy and Personal Effectiveness on
Happiness and Life Satisfaction among Late Adolescents and Young
Adults”.
● I have presented a paper on “Relationship among employee
engagement, job demand and role clarity – A study among
professionals in academic and IT industry” for the International
Conference on Enriching Employee Engagement in Organization – Role of
Psychology (Paper presentation on 30-1-2015) organised by Department of
Psychology, University of Madras and published the same in
