Ms. Sarah Priscilla.S, Endowments and Subject Proficiency Winner in her Under Graduation with Distinction, has obtained Post Graduation Degree in Foods & Nutrition from the University of Madras and cleared National Eligibility Test for Lectureship. She is  dedicated and enjoys teaching students with her rich experiences and enlightens them to focus on holistic development. She is a life member of Indian Dietetic Association, Chennai Chapter, a registered Academic Counsellor at Indira Gandhi National Open University and  carries with her two years of experience in the field as Dietician and Patient Care Counsellor. She started her teaching career in Anna Adarsh College for Women and has been serving S.D.N.B Vaishnav College in the Department of Nutrition, FSM & Dietetics since its inception. Her contribution to the establishment of the department is highly significant. Her research and teaching interests are in areas related to Food Science, Human Physiology, Human Nutrition, Nutritional Biochemistry and Public Nutrition. She has been invited as Resource Person to other Colleges and Non Profit Organisations and has delivered National & International Invited talk on Women Health, ‘Zero Hunger – Better Nutrition, Better Lives’, Nutrition & Health, Low Cost Nutrition, Immunoboosters, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, A Healthy Diet leads to Healthy Living etc. She has attended various National Conferences, Workshops and Faculty Development Programmes to enrich her knowledge and render better service to the student community. She has organized multiple Community Nutrition Education and Awareness programmes and trained her students to cater for the empowerment of the weak and vulnerable sections of society. Her articles in the areas pertaining to the development of value added products have been published in International Refereed Journals. She uses her expertise in tutoring young individuals to discover passion in learning. She is an approved staff member of the Institution and actively served as Fine Arts Committee- Convenor& Member and Student Union Vice President.
